What would a Zettelkasten be without Zettel?
That’s right, a Kasten!
And although, as a German, I wouldn’t say no to a Kasten, the absence of Zettel would defeat the purpose of this whole endeavour.
Keep in mind that the majority of my Zettel live in the root of my Brain!
The only ones contained within this subdirectory are Notes that have no title. They replace a Daily Journal and are mainly meant to be discoverable through Backlinks.
Any note that could have a title, serves a minimally greater purpose and therefore should have a title, lives in the main Brain.
